You can learn about sports, crafts, science, trades, business, and future careers as you earn merit badges. There are more than 135 merit badges, and any Boy Scout may earn any of these at any time. You can learn more about Merit Badge rules and guidelines here: http://www.scouting.org/meritbadges.aspx

There are many ways to earn merit badges outside of summer camps and troop meetings. Many organizations in Denver offer classes to help scouts earn these badges. For a full list, see the Denver Area Council calendar: http://www.denverboyscouts.org/activitiesevents/activities-listing/38679
